The Training Portal page is your jump off point to the course. Once you are logged on new menu options will be available to you. Please take a little time to look around and see what is on offer. Of particular interest is the "Resources" page with a plethora of links to information and resources (of course if you find a new one please let us know so that we can include it).
Each Module starts with an introduction page which spells out in detail what competencies the Module covers and how they are assessed. It provides an outline of the Learning Package structure and so will give you a framework for your learning experience.
Learning Packages are structured to provide a logical progression in learning. As you move through the LP you will be presented with discrete elements of information, short reflective activities and clarifying activites. Once these activities have been submitted to your assessor and marked, and both you and your assessor feel you are ready for assessment an assignment/s will be sent for your completion and submission.
Each Module has a corresponding "Assessment guide" which lay outs in detail the elements to be assessed, the context for assessment and the assessment vehicle options for you to display competence in. These guides also provide an insight into the workplace application of competence and so are well worth a read.
At the completion of each Module, you will be given an opportunity to provide feedback on your learning experience - thus allowing us to continually improve our delivery. This of course is not to say that you can't raise issues or concerns with us at any time.
As you move through the Course your progress is recorded on your "My Progress" page. this page also displays a range of administrative information and contains a facility for you to notify us of any changes in details or circumstance. This page is only accessible by you and the Course administrator so rest assured your private information is secure.
